In summer, dresses are my must-wear pieces. You’ll rarely find me wearing pants in the summer unless I’m working out or it’s a travel day. But since a good dress can stand as a complete outfit all by itself, it can be hard to find different combinations to make one dress look like five different outfits (to avoid the dreaded “you’re wearing that again?”). That’s why I was so excited when I was approached with the opportunity to style one of Von Vonni’s transformer dresses! These dresses can be worn in countless different ways. The dress itself is a skirt with two long scarf-like pieces of fabric that can be wrapped and tied around the body to make dozens of classic shapes. Here are my three favourite ways to wear my short Von Vonni transformer dress in jade green.
1. The Cross-Back Maiden Sleeve
2. The Twist-Back Halter
3. The One-Shoulder Wonder
This dress is so fun and cute, and I love the deep green colour. The material is light and falls nicely with no ironing necessary – a HUGE bonus for effortless summer throw-on-and-go chic.
In addition to classic transformer dresses, Von Vonni also sells other designs. They have generously sent me a Kelly Green Short Victoria Transformer Dress for a giveaway for my Canadian readers! This dress has a transformable top and cute sleeves that make it an easy transition to fall.

I would wear it in all the same ways you do, love them all :)
I would wear the dress in the Cross-Back Maiden Sleeve way, with some nice colourful pumps
Either cross back or one shoulder – it is a gorgeous dress! I would probably wear black or silver shoes
I like the crossback, but feel like I might end up wearing it like a straightjacket without help ;)
Haha, all twisted up.
I really like the one shoulder thing. I’m not quite brave enough to try it, but with this dress I could.
The dress is very forgiving! It’s great because, like you said, it really enables you to try styles you otherwise wouldn’t want to commit to. :)
What an interesting idea! I’d probably try to style something with the maiden sleeves to start. Then . . . who knows!
You look beautiful in all the photos Sage!!! The dress looks amazing on you. Fits you like a glove!!
Thank you!! <3 <3
This dress is gorgeous! I’d probably style it sleeveless like you did with pink shoes or something out of the ordinary like that! Haha – thanks for the giveaway!

I like the pink shoes idea! A pop of unexpected brightness is always an eye-catcher, that’s for sure! :)
The Cross-Back Maiden Sleeve is my favourite!!
Fabulous giveaway! I love the dress option with the twisted back. So cute.

I’d most def style this dress with a pair of Preen by Aldo shoes that are super snazzy. The dress and the shoes would seriously make a complete outfit!
I love this dress! I am a huge fan of dresses with sleeves, and one with multiple styling options?! Amazing. I might work in some braided accessories to play on the fun criss-cross of the dress straps!
