Celebrating One Year at Microsoft

Today I celebrate my first full-time year at Microsoft! I am so grateful to work in a role where I have global impact and truly feel that I am using my passions to impact others in a positive way. Working in technology we have the opportunity to build a future we want to live in, and Microsoft provides us Microsofties with a platform and resources that enable us to do so.

Thank you to my manager, who has supported me in my efforts to finish my degree as I work. It is no easy task to balance two full-time commitments, and the support I have from him and from our team is what keeps me going. Thank you to the team I interned with in Canada for a year before starting full-time at LeX, I would not be here without you. Thank you to the Microsoft developer community, for being vocal in what you want so we can create the courseware you want to see. And thank you to everyone who has come with me on this journey, it means so much to me that you read my words and send me your thoughts and stories.

We will build the future together.
